Hello, I’m Zahra.
I work with children, youth, adults and busy families to establish calm and joy in their lives, by overcoming challenges, learning coping skills and creating strong and positive relationships with themselves and others.
As a Child & Family Therapist, over the past decade, I’ve worked with children, youth, parents, teachers and caregivers and supported them to incorporate lessons in compassion and mindfulness into their daily routines, homes and classrooms. My success is the result of working with diverse children and families who have experienced stress and trauma, and partnering with them to not only heal, but to also transform and create lives they are happy to live and proud to excel at. I know how to teach the life skills every child needs to build emotional intelligence, stress-resilience and confidence, from a young age. Most importantly, I have a passion and a gift to make these life-changing practices fun, exciting and doable for young children and their families.
It’s time to teach our kids that being mindful, self-aware and compassionate is just as important (if not more so) than getting good grades and preparing for the future.
I have proven methods I’ve used with my own 3 children, as well as with the clients I work with, and I am excited and honoured to share them with you.
