Hello, I am Zahra and I specialize in working with children, adults and families that have experienced trauma, as well as in Mindfulness and maternal/ perinatal mental health.
I graduated with a Master’s Degree in Social Work from the University of Toronto in 2012 and have worked in various interdisciplinary community settings and specialties including Child and Family Mental Health Centres, schools, Child Welfare and Addictions.
I have completed Post-graduate training and certifications in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing), IFS (Internal Family Systems) Level 1, CBT (Cognitive Behaviour Therapy), DBT (Dialectical Behaviour Therapy), Narrative Behaviour Therapy and Brief Solution-focused Therapy.
